About Take My Money

Hi, I'm Ricardo de Jong. I started Take My Money in 2016 to collect the products that made me say the words out loud: shut up and take my money.

I'm a gadget nerd from the Netherlands with a soft spot for audio gear, synths, coffee, puzzles and anything that is a little bit ridiculous. This site is where I keep track of the stuff worth knowing about, and the stuff you didn't know you wanted.

How products get picked

• I write about things I've used, or things I've researched well enough to explain who they're for and who should skip them.
• I say which is which. "I've used mine for a year" and "on paper" are different claims.
• I don't take payment for placement. Brands can't buy a spot on a list.
• Old guides get updated: dead products come out and better ones go in. Each post shows when it was last updated.
